About the Founder

Dr. Tammie Ross McCurry has been married to her husband and best friend Elder Michael McCurry for over thirty years.  She is the proud mother of six daughters: Brittney, Alyssa, Jasmine, Takia, Mikala, and Ashley.  She is the grandmother to Ethan, James III, McKenzie, Maverick, Aiden, Braxton, and Jaison.  She is the proud mother in love to James II, Aundrey II, and Justin.  

 

Dr. McCurry is a graduate of Jacksonville Theological Seminary where she received the Doctor of Ministry in Christian Counseling degree. She also holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.  

 

Dr. McCurry is the CEO and President of Confidential Consultants (www.confidentialconsultants.org), a personal and professional development firm focused on inspiring, empowering, and educating individuals, ministry leaders, and business owners through life coaching, relationship mentoring, and professional training.   

She is a highly sought-after and energetic keynote speaker and facilitator.  She is certified by The Professional Woman Network as a Diversity Trainer.  She is also certified by Life Innovations as a Marriage Enrichment Facilitator.  Her knowledge of business and professionalism is supported by over 25 years of real-world and leadership experience acquired by working with corporations, behavioral healthcare systems, local government offices, and charitable/non-profit organizations.

 

Dr. McCurry accepted her call to the ministry and preached her first message entitled “The One That Escaped” in July 1998.  She is a licensed evangelist in the Churches of God in Christ.  She is a member of New Life Church of God in Christ where she and her husband serve as Marriage Ministry Leaders under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Terry Ellison. 

 

Dr. McCurry has a passion for writing.  She has authored two books entitled Building The Unbreakable Bond and Under the Shadow: Our Journey with Polycystic Kidney Disease.  She has also co-authored two books, Silence and Bruised But Not Broken.  She and her husband are the founders of To Restore Multitudes Ministries (www.trmministries.com), a ministry focused on transforming and restoring marriages and families.  They currently host a radio show, The Covenant Corner, on WXVI 1600 AM. 

 

While she was raising her daughters and modeling for them the qualities of a Proverbs 31 Woman, Dr. McCurry did not realize that God was preparing her for her purpose.  She was teaching, educating, and empowering six young women from their birth and those experiences were essential in developing the knowledge she would need to birth a ministry.  On October 19, 2017, Tau Rho Mu Christian Sorority Incorporated became a reality.  Dr. McCurry proudly serves as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of this anointed and appointed organization which focuses on developing women into Proverbs 31 Women through education, empowerment, and mentorship.
